wait wait wait wait wait wait wait are you saying, maybe.....theres other period bn releases, where the liberty lp stereo mixes differed from the mcmasters, cause CARAMBA....i have the cd and the lp, and, even thoygh the lps analog, i hate it compared w/ the cd....i swear to god theres some weird phasing thing.....if only you could hear it.... I AM LEARNING THAT IN CERTAIN INSTANCES, THE BLUE NOTE 90S CDS....---are not always inferior to the lp related counterpart---. the carambas even vangelder stamped and stuff, but i swear to god. something is off with this cut...

oh god! herbie must of been furious! a rare slip up from alfred, lol -
1st of all, before the notes start, theres a little tiny musical related note in italics, before which then there is aheader stating the album title in caps, and then it delves into some kind of fantasyland poetry, it is the weirdest bluenote album liners ever-- nora kelly? omg

Why Do CDs Get Scratched So Easily?
chewy-chew-chew-bean-benitez replied to Teasing the Korean's topic in Audio Talk
on cd-rs, this can be an issue- on manufactured regular cds...who cares? scratches dont do anything. i just scored one of my all time holy grail cds finds- pink floyd the wall japan-for-uk blackface harvest, disc 1 i would grade F--. it is scratched up beyond belief. you know how jsngry said that joe brazil tape was by far the worst sounding recording hes ever heard, well immagine that, but on a surface of a cd. plays perfectly. i also have a bowie lets dance made in japan cp-35 thats a little less scratched than that but still pretty bad looking, also plays perfectly -
did that 85th bday concert at carnegie hall happen?

just unsealed a sealed lp album: cinnamon flower- charlie rouse band. according to the back cover its brazillian w/ r&b rhythms too, yea, thats a politie way of putting it, i guess, its draight up jazz-disco fusion, its out of this plannet, on CASABALANCA records (?!) of all labels...from columbia to casabalanca, lol-- no seriously, this album is amazing-

this is strange! is this the only time in blue note 1500 series history this happened? i mean its not quite 'bitches brew' level, but wow. so is the mosaic set, is that same one as on the "40 years of blue note" set? so they say this original disc was only pressed in quanity of 500 copies. how do we know that? sources? i have an original of this on the way. i bought one, for 150 dollars. mine has no cover, and is scratched up. pending shipping, its gonna be awesome....
