  11. dude really, my orig. lp specifically has an (*) next to teddy edwards name on the back cover and denotes only the track 1 on each side as the teddy tracks. no info given on the rest!! this was well into dick bocks major lsd phase (chewy's theory) so who knows.......... what what what? its a PJ lp w/ teddy edwards....in NYC??............................ "DISLIKE!!!!"
  12. was dexter a big user? if so he certanly over came it pretty well, right? what is this, on dootone? i have never seen this record in the flesh however its name does appear i believe on the back cover dootone notes on another dootone record i have........
  13. the back cover & notes say Teddy Edwards arr. and conducted the *** songs, of which there are two, the lead in track to each lp side............the lp jacket doesnt say who arr./cond. the REMAINING trks,....i cant figure this out!!!!! has anyone seen this record?
  14. is this a farfisa organ or some kind of hammond....O M G!!!!!!! i HAVE to find a 1st pressing of this!!! this record is incredible!!!!!!!!!!!
  15. ok, how is the sound on those twofers, like 'on a misty night'?
  16. funny you guys, i usually HATE when i see one of these- it means its gonna not have vangelder stamps and be an original or near-original!!
  17. BN stereo little lp I WANNA HOLD YOUR HAND/GRANT GREEN b/w Corcovado: sealed w/ BN pic stickers (not really stickers, i dont know) and title strips.... now im thinking it was in the 60s repackaged by the jukebox co. w/ the title strips, i dunno about the little colour album cover pics cause i just cracked this baby open and the record is FILTHY, well not filthy, but not anywhere mint...i mean not scratched, it sounds great, but it pops like crazy. and theres a lot of dust and even some discoloration like mold spots (very tiny) i dont understand
  18. will the mono button really "fix" it, on this release?
  19. i took a chance on this today, was the liberty issue the 1st time it was "rechanneled", or was this done pre liberity, i doubt it....anyways it cant be worse than trip records "the young lions" (shorter, morgan)....
  20. did i share, how all of side A, has little splatters of yellow paint on it, like real real tiny ones, but a lot of them, hardened to the vinyl--- some painter was prob. painting to coltrane (lol) and this is the result----- side b has none really but one big sploch right at the start of side b, plays fine though and not too bad for 3 bucks if u ask me---
  21. actually its a vol 1 in a red vol 2 cover- not bad for 3 bucks though
  22. oh god......someone at prestige made a bad decision i just took a chance today on a very nice clean liberty issue Monk Genesis of Modern music vol. 2 thats "electronically rechanneled for stereo" as per the cover, however the blue note label on the lp just says: stereo. so im hoping for the best........
  23. and i think that sucks how originally its Tadd Dameron w/ john coltrane and NOWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW its on the cover as: John Coltrane w/ Tadd Dameron. they really are playing god here, arent they? the 2nd press yellow labels still say tadd w/ john, so you know.......
