ID BE INTERESTED TO KNOW IF THE 3RD ISSUE IN THE 7700 SERIES HAS BOTH, THE ORIGINAL 1ST PRESS &&&&&& THE 2ND PRESS ETCHINGS SCRATCHED OUT IN THE DEADWAX, OR IF IT REPEATS THE SAME THING AS ON THE 2ND, OR IS THE 7700 SERIES ALREADY IN THE ISSUES WITH THE GREEN LABELS AND NO ORIG. STAMPERS/???

okokokokokokokokokok so i got a 2nd press 60s cover of Mating Call, thats instead of the yellow birds on the beach its birds in a tree: in B&W......... the lp inside has the old YELLOW ARROW labels, however they do have the new catelgogue # for the 2nd press 7247. so that was weird i thought, the old labels on this 60s issue, is that common, however it IS the new catelgue # which changed the deadwax of the lp itself: get this, its the same stampers as the 1st press but they SCRACTH HOT THE "7070" in the deadwax and beneth it they write in 7247, but its the SAAAAAAAAAAAME STAMPERS, of course also inscribed RVG, but theres also this little letter "B" (?) also says AB stamped in deadwax... what did the 3rd issue cover look like?

so manual would be side 1 side 2///side 3 side 4///etc and auto it would be like side 1 ond record 1, side 2 on record 2, et. al? i always perfer #1. every masterworks set i have and all this stuff i have is like that, side 1 on one record, side 2 on the next, then when u get to the end up flip back down and play them reverse, it its more record shifting then necessary hey greg m, dont talk smack about big-holed 78s! My amos milburn 78s are like that: they were on an awesome old LA jukebox back in the old days ouch! i would never put my 78s on that thing, it must sound like glass breaking........

no i am not misreading the exteremly hard-to-follow Atlantic personel-linernotes: the man himself blows the organ on a few pieces, regular piano on others---but then theres a small chunk of pieces with zero Hank, which, usually, would not be a good thing, less hank. that is not something you usually say you want to do, less hank. however in this special case, its ok cause organ is played by, and im going to quote Atlantic directly now::: Johnny Patton. SOUL GROOVE- Johnny Griffin & Matthew Gee....with Johnny Patton aka Big Johnny Patton. the BJP session date is a few days prior to the date w/ Hank Jones.....what i wish i knew, is if there was some connection other than the names on the record together: did BJP show up to the later session a few days later. i mean, HANKS ON ORGAN. hank doesnt play organ, HANKS ON ORGAN AND KILLIN IT, DID BIG JOHN PATTON HAVE SOME INFLUENCE ON THAT. saw the Miles albums (workin cookin etc) they are yellow label prestige rvg stampers but the vinyl, its not as thick as other period prestige vinyl i see and have. were there multiple runs of the yellow label versions?
