I am sorry. she has a blue note album which i need to get- it seems like a throwback blue note- in the cover + music. it actually was blue note LT series (70s). in fact it might be the only new acoustic piano trio in the blue note LA series

so it came today, and i cant say the fidelity is exactly on par with the 78, even though i could only salvage the last 20 seconds of bass goin crazy from the broken 78, i actually could hear the piano a little better than the lp i thought upon 1st listen.

one of the performers before the song mentioned how a great jazz singer and im pretty sure he said grammy award winner died today, Al Jarreau. they also showed a photo real quick.

I have the poster, also designed by Dean Torrance. it was a hundred dollars.

for 5 bux i did real good here, it is a good quick listen, the cover lists jor-du 1st even though its last, but its the album highlight. i so far could hardlly tell blakey was on it, he really doesnt get to do his thing at all, i have to relisten, anyways, its good. im still keeping the cd for the vol 1 w/ frank foster date

leave it to the Dutch to protect it all these years and then facilitae a release when that become possible. we definitely need to reach out to thank them and let them know we are happy about doing business with them. will u guys who are up on these foreign jazz cd orde r sites, when u get more info can you post your experience ordering. i thought it was a big deal to buy something internationally on discogs but that link you posted was somethin else....no way i was gonna put my credit card number in that

k so i ordered a cheap copy of the Albert Ammons Memorial Album: which is 3 of the original blue note 78 rpm discs it apparently is rvg etched, this issue....how did rvg do it, from tape sources? mosaic later reissued it too, the 1st thing they ever did i see....
