  4. who is the drummer that stan is talking about? KENT0N: There is one particular drummer who used to play with the band and is really big in the field of jazz - he had the problem, but he straightened out and he beat the situation wonderfully well. But it's miserable the way the police still stay after him, they keep looking at him - every time be turns around there's someone who's saying, "Let's talk to you, let's examine you " and sometimes - he's pretty patient with them, but every once in a while - you can just see this look on his face: "I wish everyone would leave me alone."

The Lord Will Make a Way Somehow -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Editorial Reviews Jewish Week "A brilliant piano-bass duo reading of tunes from the Jewish and African-American sacred traditions and easily the best record I've reviewed this year. Warm, intelligent and swinging..." Rabbi Herbert Brockman, Congregation Mishkan Israel, Hamden CT "Music from two different cultural experiences, one enhancing the other." Album Description The music on this album consists of a series of bass and piano duets of jazz interpretations of sacred music from the African-American and Jewish traditions. The title comes from a Passover song based upon the ancient Hebrew saying that means,"once we were slaves." This is, of course, appropriate since both the Jewish and African-American peoples were forged from slavery.
