  8. Very emotive moments in what will be the last hurrah for Agassi, game by itself was subpar, but the reaction by the crowd was priceless.

  10. Was there for that gig in Montreal, very memorable and entertaining show, thanks for the memories .
  11. Willie Mays Mickey Mantle Hank AAron
  12. Wimbledon has a great tradition but let's face it , the style of playing does not make for great watching. In terms of entertainment (as a fan) the US Open is the most fun. As someone who likes and enjoys long exchanges, Roland Garros and Flushing Meadows are riveting stuff. Tv wise also the US Open is frendlier with the evening session for us North-Americans. Howevr if i were a player on my top list it would be Wimbledon followed by Roland-Garros, afterwards it would be the US Open.
  13. Sad, very sad, as i said in another thread, glad i saw him last year. Thanks Dewey for the great music.

  17. Man, i saw him last year with Pat Metheny and with his quartet and his gig was one of the highlights of the 2005 edition of the Montreal Jazz fest. Awful news.

  22. Not a Hip Hop afficianado by any means but this is solid shit, way beyond the usual litany of clichés offered by that brand of music. Love the way they are incorporating influences from "old time black music" For those who know them are their previous recordings are as intriguing musically wise.
  23. Clark Gable Cary Grant Gary Cooper
  24. Another great game last night between Agassi and Baghdatis, stayed up 'til the end near 1 am. Maybe not the greatest game on a technical point of view but on a emotional and storytelling it was one million times better than any Hollywood movie. Riveting stuff.
