Regarding the 30 Rock show, my highlites of the first DVD are the inaugural scene, interesting for a pro-liberal show that the first scene is a nice shot at liberal values. You have a character frustrated by what she seems inequities in the free market (the hot dog stand with people cutting the line) decides to buy the whole batch of food and distributes it to people who did not ask for it or just are wasting them. Other enjoying moments, the placement product bit,and of course my favourite the exit strategy plan joke.

Watching today the first DVD of the 1st season of 30 Rock. Never watched it, there was a lot of hype about it and gotta say it lives up to it very well. Very well written show, good first degree storytelling with clever second degree jokes.

I was lucky in a sense i guess, once fell down from the stairs in the subway, ended up with a light concussion, a bruised coccyx and a broken elbow. was split in two with a separation of about 2 millimeters, nurses at the hospital told me it was a beautiful fracture, it was time someone told me i had something beautiful, anyway i disgress. They put me in a half-cast and got stuck with it until the bones would be back in place, took about a month and a half. I'm a lefthander and it obviously the left that was broken, so for all that time, couldn't do much except curse a lot. Once they took away my cast, i had some rewards, had to go to physiotherapy, had nice ladies putting electrodes on my elbow, then they would make a few exercices to improve the strenght and flexibility. After that she would massage my arm, no extras were offered though. Nowadays my elbow is back to normal although it remauns slightly crooked and when weather is humid i kinda feel it. Hope it goes as well for you.

Siunce it is now statistically impossible for me to catch up the leader, i'd like to congratulate Conn on becoming the champion of this contest for a second time in its 4th year of existence Gotta say he did it in style, picking correctly 9 out of 10 games that started at 1 pm. Think i'll change my handle for Poulidor, i end up second way too many times in these kind of contests. -

I mostly remember her as Catwoman, she once about 20 years ago was scheduled to do a double bill with a well known local rocker called Marjo, she ended up fighting with our local singer, don't remember exactly why, don't know if they everdid the gig finally. Here's a nice clip from her singing a french classic. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=b5WVkl_f7_E

Main problem with these labels is no one gets paid and the info about the tracks is mediocre. Regarding what the set covers, it is sketchy since they don't mention the sources. Can't find any reproduction on the web of what the minimalist booklet offers. I can tell you though that CD 1 starts with music from the Krupa band from 1940 to 1942. CD 2 tracks are from the Kenton orchstra from 44 to 45, a few Krupa sides circa 1945, 4 numbers where she's the leader in 45 and 4 others in 47 The 2 other cds are her own sides going from 47 up to 59. Hope it helps. Yep the sound is quite good indeed, bought it at my local music store, so you should have no problem finding it.
