Was not giving it my undivided, but it is much more of an arranged pop album than a jazz album. The best tracks are the 5 by Shorty Rogers. There are three guitarists. There are parts where they are playing melodies in octaves, kind of like a 12-string guitar, but with a fuller sound. And there are a few tracks that feature baritone guitar, an under-used instrument IMO. Knowing at least a little bit about your tastes and interests, probably not for you, but it may be worth checking out the five Shorty tunes if you can find them on Spotify or YouTube.
