The version on Ray Charles' Christmas album isn't too bad. I usually hate that song, but Ray does some good "rump-a-bum-buming," especially when he starts doing it behind the beat... Agreed!! I think almost everything on that album is golden. The Spirit Of Christmas is another absolute gem from that album. Damn, I need to crank that one up when I get home tonight! The one Christmas song I really don't like is Grandma Got Runover By A Reindeer. Partially funny the very first time, teeth gratingly irritating everytime after.

Hell, I'd ask them to point out in the scripture where it says homosexuality is a sin.

Awesome. The guy makes a whole bunch of "scientific" claims about soy, talking about studies and the like, and provides absolutely no footnotes or links to said studies or any other actual "proof". The studies were obviously "faith based". BM, I was raised in a strict Christian household. My father is prominent in his church, and my brother is an ordained Baptist minister and former Navy Chaplain. Trust me based upon my experience...........this is no scam. These folks really believe these kinds of things. When I was arguing with my father about homosexuality NOT being a lifestyle choice recently, I asked him if he "chose" to be heterosexual. Want to guess what his answer was?

Dead serious. It's almost as if they constantly look for bigger and more moronic ways to entertain us.

One of our investment officers was in NYC last week and attended the show at Lincoln Center that featured a symphony playing the original score along with Marsalis' gang doing Ellingtons version. That would have been very interesting, IMO. Has anybody in that area attended one of these performances? I was hooked on Ellingtons the very first time I heard Sugar Rum Cherry. Brilliant stuff! I also have the CJM disc that is pictured above.
