  1. He was with a bad team and OC. And Jackson mismanaged him so poorly last year that I think the jury is still out as to how good or bad he really is.
  2. Indeed. As for Dan’s anecdote, people that grow up in bubbles similar to the Williams sister tend to act that way sheerly out of lack of perspective, IMO. Though as you said, that is still not an excuse for behaving that way.
  3. Hmmm...sounds 100% legit. An employee that worked there for four months that considered herself a “threat” to the billionaire that owns the company... "Elon Musk is just smoking it out in the open, knowing that he uses his very vague drug policy as a way to fire people that are a threat to him." https://www.msn.com/en-nz/news/world/employee-fired-for-failing-drug-test-angry-at-musk/ar-BBN3PPf
  4. I won’t go THAT far, but she certainly could have done a better job keeping her frustration under control. At the same time, the referee should have also kept HIS frustration under control and de-escalated the situation rather than making it worse. It was ugly, but both share the blame, IMO.
  5. Wait. So smoking weed in a legal adult use state is juvenile? Or is the outraged reaction to a grown man smoking weed in a legal adult use state juvenile?
  6. Feigned outrage has been all over social media this morning. https://money.cnn.com/2018/09/07/technology/elon-musk-joe-rogan/index.html
  7. I don’t get motion sickness, but that video pushed me pretty close to it.
  8. He was essentially Han Solo for southern folks. He found his niche and rolled with it. I have no problem with that. I’d watch a marathon of Burt Reynolds movies before watching one the kidnapped/action adventure movies Liam Neeson has turned into his niche.
  9. ^^^^^This. Fortunately, or unfortunately.
  10. Smokey And The Bandit, as well as Cannonball Run, were mainstays of my youth.
  11. I honestly doubt there is a single company on the planet that looks at any multiple item purchase trying to figure out which item is the most prized by the purchaser.
  12. They’re all really good. I think Blondie and The Doors is still my favorite.
  13. I would love to here an instrumental version of Code Girl. The vocals are like nails on a blackboard to me. I had to bail less than two songs in.
  14. It’s actually somewhat bizarre that people are still arguing that media that makes physical contact with the pickup mechanism is still more viable than media that doesn’t. Things that rub together eventually wear down and fail. This is common knowledge 101.
  15. Sure it is. It’s about tape outstripping optical hard drives. Data is data, whether it be text, photos, music, video, etc.
  16. A reactionary piece to a new form if music? How shocking!
  17. Awesome! And BTW, it’s not an issue for you because of all the storage space, but nobody should let their inner audiophile stop them from downsampling ALAC to 256 AAC for their phone or iPod. There is no audible difference between the two.
  18. How weird is it that the only two teams to go 0-16 both swept their preseason games?
  19. I guess altruistic freeware simply ain't dead yet?
  20. File converter. https://www.anymp4.com/audio-converter/convert-ra-to-mp3-for-itunes.html
  21. So for some reason I'm still not completely clear on the whole Jazzmessengers thing. Are they resellers for the European market?
  22. The standoff is finally over!!!!
  23. None of which is disparaging. I didn't make my son's middle name Coltrane because I didn't think much of the man.
