Finished up season 2 of Downton Abbey. Starting: The Returned

Downton Abbey - season 2. Okay, this show is so addictive it's like British crack. Amazing considering how shopworn most of the plot elements are (the flower show episode from season 1 stolen directly from Mrs. Miniver had me wincing a little), it's really the characterizations that make this show worthwhile and they are damn good across the board. I had never seen Michelle Dockery prior to this series but I became an instant fan.

When I first heard the news this morning I thought of you, I figured you knew him. My Mother took me to see Stripes in the theater when I was 11, I've been a fan of Ramis ever since. A sad loss.

My favorite dramatic show of the past couple years. Season 2 is excellent as well. Glad to hear that. Like The West Wing the dialogue is so fast paced that if you drop your concentration for a sentence or two it takes two minutes to work out what's happening. Maybe I've been listening to too much opera where everything gets repeated twelve times! I was mesmerised by Emily Mortimer - she'd drive me nuts in real life, those hands flying everywhere and lurching from despair to nirvana in a millisecond. But whenever she comes on screen she grabs my attention - I read she's John Mortimer (Rumpole of the Bailey)'s daughter. I love Emily Mortimer, she's been good in every film I've seen her in. Olivia Munn (Sloan Sabbith) is brilliant in the show as well, especially in the second season.

My favorite dramatic show of the past couple years. Season 2 is excellent as well.

Already renewed for Season 3.

Finished up season 1 of House of Cards on Netflix, getting ready to start season 2.

80 degrees and sunny in Los Angeles.

I had actually never seen that show until a few months ago, I've watched the first 6 seasons so far. Great fun!

Doctor Who - Series 3 (David Tennant)

I don't have an iPod and generally don't worry about taking a stash of music with me, I still do most of my music listening at home. I did drop a few playlists into my Android phone in case of emergency and I use Spotify all the time at work.

It doesn't, it comes from your data plan. I have unlimited text & data so it doesn't cost anything additional.

The iPod became obsolete as soon as the iPhone came out, nowadays people only want to carry 1 device with them that does everything. And downloading songs from your computer to your device is so 00's, unlimited streaming with millions of songs to choose from is the preferred choice.

The Rockford Files - Season One. Haven't seen the show since I was a kid, fun going back and watching this from the beginning. All the great 70s Los Angeles locations are a great bonus as well

Fuckin' A! Love Stanley. Personally I love the CTI albums, he plays phenomenally throughout and they sound great. Simple pleasures.

I've been watching Scrubs on Netflix, a funny time-waster while I ponder what dramatic series I want to watch next. I also blasted through the entire series of Chuck in about 2 weeks.
