Very cool, Jim! Here's my next Prog new release suggestion for members of the board. "The Mountain" by UK band Haken is easily one of my favorite records of 2013. These guys are the real deal. Check out the madrigal vocal arrangement ala Gentle Giant on this tune...they have found the right balance of homages to the prog rock past while still sounding like themselves. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0_e4YX73Ww4 The video is hilarious as well!

I still think Sleepy Hollow is the most entertaining new show of the season. It's a love letter to genre films/TV shows and they got the feel just right, it's playful and doesn't take itself too seriously. Really like the main characters as well, they have a nice working chemistry.

The Good Wife - Season 4.

Yep, thanks to you turning me onto that record it will now be accompanying me to my desert island.

Sleepy Hollow. Just the right mixture of gonzo supernatural, humor and mythology. Doesn't take itself too seriously and is the most fun new show of the year. It's basically Buffy with a HUGE budget.

Great record and Holdsworth flat out kills it throughout.

Fans of Luther should be pleased to know that a spin-off show is coming featuring the Alice Morgan character. There are also rumors of a big-screen Luther movie circulating.

The Good Wife - season one. Very good show, I look forward to digging in deeper.

The Newsroom. I really wish this show was a full-season instead of the 9-10 episodes it's getting right now, it is so enjoyable I want a lot more of it!

And the whole "engineering fetish" thing shouldn't be discounted as frivolous, Wilson did an absolutely BRILLIANT job remixing these records. These King Crimson records sound better than they have ever sounded, I doubt I'll ever listen to the original mixes again, there is really no need.

Finished watching season 2 of Continuum on Syfy. Very enjoyable series, it may be a low-budget Canadian series but it manages to make more of an impact than most other sci-fi shows on TV right now. Now getting ready to start watching season 2 of Aaron Sorkin's The Newsroom.
