  1. The catchiest songs are near the end of the album, I'd recommend checking out "Big River" (which sounds like it could fit on VHII) and Outta Space (which should have been the album opener). I'm shocked I liked the album, I haven't listened to Van Halen since 1987 or so.
  2. The album is quite good, sounds exactly like old Van Halen (somewhere between Women & Children First and Fair Warning). The reason it sounds like old Van Halen is because all the songs were from 1970's era demos, re-arranged and with new lyrics written. I expected a trainwreck, what they actually released is one of the few "FUN" rock albums I've heard in the past decade. Eddie sounds phenomenal throughout. ...I should also mention that I haven't owned a Van Halen album since the 80s, so I'm not even close to being a fanboy. But I bought the new album and I've played it alot.
  3. I don't think she's an android? Here's a more "life-like" picture:
  4. Oh it's silly, it makes Supernatural look like Shakespeare...but I guess I'm a sucker for soft core girl on girl action. LOL.
  5. Ksenia Solo works for me!
  6. Sleazy/Cheesy escapism, but I like sleazy/cheesy so it's okay by me.
  7. They do this stuff on Bones all the time.
  8. The old BNBB was the first internet board I ever joined. I think I had recently purchased the Hank Mobley Mosaic set and was doing research to try and track down some of his harder to find CDs, that search led me to the BNBB and the rest is history.
  9. "Eight Miles High" by The Byrds. Sometimes re-living an old favorite can be just as stimulating as hearing something new.
  10. This one should be easy.
  11. When trying to judge the merits of current music, the very first rule is to avoid the radio, VH1 or any other major label driven endeavor. If it's popular, most likely it's shit. Lots of good music still being made, you just have to dig down into the niches to find it. Granted, I've never been a fan of "popular music", regardless of era.
  12. Not sure why it took me until July of '03 to join, I guess I was temporarily abducted by aliens during that juncture.
  13. I gotta say, the more snippets of his writing I see the less I like him.
  14. It's amazing to me how much time has passed since the old BNBB days, while life itself hasn't always been a joy, this place and the people who hang out here have been.
  15. Bette Davis got you by the balls.

Personally, I think "Moon Germs" is a kick ass record.

  18. I never know which direction my moods will take me going forward, so i wouldn't even venture a guess.
  19. Correct.
  20. A childhood picture of a popular TV and film actress. (I can provide hints if needed).
  21. It looks like Peter Sellers

Welcome back indeed! You've been missed.
  24. It's "Out of Stock" already. I'm hoping Wilson makes this available as a lossless download.
