Yes, he's a good guy, but he was a bit liberal in his grading last time I got something from him. He still says VG+ when cover has seam splits, writing and tape. At least he lets you know the details. It's fun just looking at the covers:

There is this from their site: Over 4 hours of music on 4 CDs and 8LPs, compiled and digitally remastered by original Hendrix engineer Eddie Kramer, and accompanied by a full-color, 80-page book filled with rare.... Just got a note from someone at the label that the LP's are from analog masters.

It's pretty much as Stefan posted. What is the pre-amp box you refer to? Is is it a seperate phono stage for the TT? If so, do not connect tape player to it. Fiddle with the source switch on the the NAD until you get the TP signal to the CDR.

You'll just miss Christian McBride(sold out anyway). Here is good calendar. The Djangofest on Whidbey Island(nice 1.5 hour drive) would be a good bet for Sat/Sun. Tula's Oct calendar is not up yet.

Why do people look at me funny when I say Prince has been one the best over the last 20 years and that he's close to the top of my favorites?

I have the vinyl edition and it's my only rock box set, therefore my favorite. I think all the stuff his estate has put out has been of the highest quality.
