Somethin' Else was my first RVG- when I compared it with the previous version I was impressed, especially with the sound of Blakey's cymbals. I'm very happy with the RVG! It's one of my favorite BNs.

I recently picked up season one of Dexter. Started watching it last night. I'd heard of it but had never seen it- very engaging show! I may become hooked.

Today is J.J.'s birthday (85th, I believe) and I'm listening to and remembering this great artist. He inspired me to play and write and continues to inspire players young and old. His Mosiac box is one of my favorites (as well as the Mosaic single J.J.!). I'm glad I got to meet him some years ago- I just wanted to thank him for all the great music. And he was a classy gentleman as well. Happy Birthday J.J., and thanks for everything!

I expected this to be the lesser of the two games, but it's turning out to be a good one! As I write this Eagles scored again! NOW they're going for two...and didn't make it. Got to say, they never give up. Time for Warner and the Cards to step up if they're going to win this one.

Looks like the Eagles aren't done yet! They really woke up in the 2nd half. Touchdown! Wow, David Akers is having a lousy day. Missed FG, missed extra point, kickoff out of bounds. I thought Philly should have gone for two after that last score.

Early 2nd quarter, Cards are looking good, up 21-6. They're dealing with the Eagles' blitzes very effectively. Warner is as cool as the other side of the pillow, as they say.

I've always liked the opening music to Glengarry Glen Ross. A great piece (featuring Wayne Shorter) to set the mood for a dark film.

Pretty soon you'll be upset when it "dips" down into the 50's, and bundling up in a parka, just like the native Floridians! Yes Agg, I am slowly but Shirley turning into a whiny Florida wussie. Not quite yet, but probably soon. :rsmile:

Chilly here- temp only made it into the mid-40s. Low 20s tonight. That COLD for these parts! I expect you folks up north are really getting some cold temps!
