Apropos of this thread, I think...I read USA Today a couple of days ago (Wednesday?), and there was an article in the Money section about Amazon. Their profits did not meet expectations. Anyway, I was struck by the statement that Amazon Marketplace sales in 2011 were way up, something like 50%, over 2010.

impossible, I've heard some things on Sirius that I've liked, but for the last few years the sales pitch has been that he combines jazz with hip hop, as if that's a good thing. I've never heard an entire album of his. Maybe he is in the habit of having good tracks on bad albums. I can't say.

RIP. Although I know him only from Run for Your Life, I've always thought of him as one of John Cassavetes' crew. I have had Arrest and Trial on my Amazon wish list for some time now, so maybe I'll pick it up.

VB2, I assume that Robert Glasper Experiment is the name of his band, but I don't know anything about it.

Tom Clements has been named Green Bay's offensive coordinator. My memory is a little vague, but I think I saw him twice - once in '79 for the Rough Riders and once for the Bombers in Hamilton at the Hall of Fame game when Jake Gaudaur, Terry Evanshen and Joe Kapp were inducted. I'll have to look up what year that was.
