VB2, yes, that attendance figure in Montreal is a big surprise to me. Dave Naylor in his article above mentioned that the team probably would have made more money by playing the game at McGill and raising the ticket prices for the playoff game. I meant to say this during the week, but forgot; and I realize it's easier to say after the game is played, but here's what I think. I am surprised but not shocked that the Ticats won in Montreal today. They finished 8-10, and when they won they looked like world beaters, but when they lost they stunk. I think the Ticats have the ability to beat every team in the league, but I don't think they have the ability to forge a three-game winning streak, which is what it will take for them to win the Grey Cup. By the way, a third place team wins the Grey Cup about once every ten years, and it has been about ten years since the Lions did it last, so it is time.
