    Nice to have the time to play some vinyl. Now on Bobby Jasper; Recorded in New York 1956. Disques Swing/DRG. Oddly the label says Bobby Jasper in Paris?

    Sad news. I was fortunate enough to see him in London with a Bobby Hutcherson band. A memorable evening. The tour got a mention in the aforementioned Cadence interview. Apparently they found it hard to 'score' in London.

    I posted this in another topic a while ago. Doc Severinsen(t), Jordan Ramin(as,ts,bar,p), Bernie Leighton(p), Trigger Alpert(b), Don Lamond(d). Ramin conceived and produced the LP. Looking at the label Ramin gets composer credits for all the non standard pieces.
