  1. Here's the larger version for 'ya!
  2. Anyone looking for some Sonny Clark?
  3. This probably isn't what you were hoping for.
  4. I'm really glad you like it, Dave! Evan, We'll have to create an avatar in which James T. Cat and your avatar go on a date or something.
  5. Thanks Wes! Hey, you need an avatar too.... (hint hint)
  6. Here's your avatar, Dave. I call it "James T. Cat (or Cat Shatner) Runs the Voodoo Down"
  7. I do that with my mp3 cd player. I prefer to use the line out jack (with a 1/8" connection). I got a cable at Radio Shack that goes from 1/8 to (2) RCA jacks. I think you could do the same with the headphones jack if it doesn't have a line out.
  8. Cool! I could be happy with a 10gb version. Does it take long to transfer files to the IPod, or is done quickly?
  9. I wonder how pissed off when the add the word McFat to the dictionary. McFat: The state of being obese that is brought on by excessive intake of fast food. McCoronary: A heart attack brought on by excessive fast food intake. SuperSize: 1) A larger fast food meal 2) What happens to a person after too many large fast food meals.
  10. I'm with you, Chris! I like the spoof that one of the comedy shows did. On the spoof version, all the colors were various shades of grey. It was completely unintelligible.
  11. Welcome to the board, bluesforbartok! I don't have an IPod, but I've been lusting after one for a while. My current setup is a cd player that plays mp3 discs. I've done the same thing and ripped my Mosaic sets to mp3. When the prices come down a little more, I'll be joining the IPod contingent. I heard that Dell has released their own mp3 player. Does anyone here know about that one?
  12. John, Those are fabulous covers! I even like your Thad Jones better than mine. I did the same thing and worked too hard on it. It lost a lot when made into avatar size. I know this isn't your profession, but if you came to me for a job, I'd hire you. Great work!
  13. Welcome to the board, street singer! I hope you will find some motivation to join us in the fun and start posting (it can be very addictive ) Thanks for the tip!
  14. I know I'm a bit biased. but.... THAT WOULD BE GREAT!!!! I dig that ol' cat.
  15. Those things bug me too. They're everywhere out here. I believe that some cities have actually outlawed them. I guess one of the toughest things about where I am is that there's never any silence. When I visited Austin recently, the calm kind of freaked me out (but in a good way).
  16. I'm there dude. B) I'll make them if anyone's interested in doing it.
  17. What Rooster said! WOW!!! I scored some deals earlier this year when the Wherehouse stores were closing. When the prices got up to 90% off, I went nuts. I spent way more than I should have.
  18. You got it Dave! I'm on parenting duty over the weekend, but I'll make your avatar on Monday. It will give me time to think of something good. :rsmile:
  19. That would be GREAT!!!!
  20. Thanks guys! I'm glad you noticed the whip cream. Jac, I don't have the Country Church LP, but I do have some that are similar. I spent a good part of my early twenties in thrift stores.
  21. Thanks Berigan!
  22. It sure looks like fun! Any chance of a live release? I'd love to hear the set. I'd be happy to buy a CDR even.
  23. I'm all for it! I spend more time here than I do with my old friends. So, I guess your all my friends now... To quote the movie Barfly, "Drinks for all my friends!" Let's just meet somewhere in civilization. I have this terrible picture of all of us in the middle of nowhere going "Lord of the Flies" on each other.
