I've been listening to a lot of reggae this summer. For some reason, I found myself on a real Dub kick. Thanks PHILLYQ! It's been an interesting summer... Actually, I'm going to be moving again in two weeks to Northern California (the wife HATES Reno and there aren't as many jobs in my field as I had hoped). I'm just trying to scrounge up enough cash for the Miles Box and the Smile cd.

I'm really excited about this cd. I've had the Vigotone 2 cd bootleg forever and I know all the songs by heart. I've been listening to a preview of the Smile cd at www.nonesuch.com and it sounds good to me. I don't think this music is overrated at all.

Thanks Maren (and everyone else)! This was my first full day in my new home (in my new town). It was a great way to spend this Father's day. I think I spent more time unpacking and setting up toys for my son, than actually working around here. I hope all of you dads out there had a great day!

I'm still not sure when you're birthday is (was), but I hope it was or will be a very special day for you.

My (almost) 3 year old and I have enjoyed those sets also. A couple DVDs that I'm really happy about are the two volumes that have been released of the old SPEED RACER cartoons. It's really weird watching these same cartoons with my son that I loved when I was his age. A few of my other DVD favorites have been the KING OF THE HILL and SIMPSONS sets. I've been hanging on to my laserdisc player for the day when I can transfer my Tex Avery box set to DVD.

Next week, I'll be starting a new life in a new state. Unfortunately, I'm not going to have much time for hanging out at my favorite internet watering hole. I really need to focus on improving myself and my career. I've let both slide for too long. I just wanted to thank all of you for your friendship here.
