I love my 40gb Nomad. I've had no problems so far (after 7 months). Before I purchased it, I read that Creative had some issues with warranties, and it was recommended that I purchase the supplemental warranty that merchants offer. So for under $300, I have the player and the extended warranty. :rsmile:

My pet peave is lose vs. loose. Lose: To be unsuccessful in retaining possession of; mislay: He's always losing his car keys. Loose: Not fastened, restrained, or contained: loose bricks. I know my grammar is far from perfect (or even correct), but I see the misuse of loose in place of lose on almost every message board I visit.

You're right, Aric. It would probably be worth seeing. I know Clapton can still dig down and play like we all want him to play. I would hope they could recapture some of the magic they had together. Speaking of Clapton, I saw the Crossroads Benefit DVD at the store tonight. Has anyone seen this? It looks like an interesting all-star concert.

I'm with you guys... I love Cream, but I don't know if I want to see this. I remember footage from their '90s reunion and it wasn't that great. One good thing... If they film their reunion show(s), at least it won't have the crazy, psychedelic, zooming in/out camera work of their '68 farewell shows. Watching that makes me a little seasick.

Thanks for the review! I picked up my copy tonight. My favorite period of the Dead was between '68 and '74, so I'm really excited about this. I used to work in a video store in the late '80s and I played the video of the "Grateful Dead Movie" usually every other day or so. I'm really excited about seeing a pristine print. I also picked up another DVD tonight. I bought "Fly Jefferson Airplane". I was pleasantly surprised. It was cool seeing performances I hadn't seen before and the interviews were good too.
