Yeah, I noticed his game-playing idiosyncrasies, too -- especially how he methodically finishes the category. In general he seems like a very down-to-earth, likable guy. I think that's why we haven't seen a backlash yet. People are rooting for him. I think you'll win the bet, Dan.

He has the "buzzing in" thing down to a science, too. If you buzz in too quickly it locks you out. That's why you will notice some Celebrity Jeopardy participants spastically thumbing their buzzers.

Ghost: I love the canal too. I don't seem to get down there much even though I only live about a 10 minute drive away. Here's one of my favorite buildings (love the limestone). If you read the NY Times, there was a great article today by Michael McColly, an IU alum, about his annual trips back to Bloomington to go cycling with his old college buddies. He mentions the old Empire Quarry as seen in "Breaking Away" as well as the Buddhist shrines which are so prevalent because of Dr. Thubten Norbu, the Dalai Lama's brother, who lives in Bloomington. You made my earlier point. Martha only saved about 50G on the sale, whereas Waksal.... I think Waksal got what he deserved; everybody seems to be overstating things a bit when they make it sound as if Martha Stewart ruined the financial lives of millions of investors with her trade. Please...

She didn't own *that* much Imclone stock--Sam Waksal's dumping of his stock is what ripped off investors, not Martha Stewart.

Am I freakin' you out 7/4?...... We had a really bizarre storm blow through, and the cloud formations were surreal. I looked out my window and the water was this awesome shade of purple/pink. The picture doesn't begin to capture it..

From what my friend tells me, her neighbor has been rather difficult to live next to...(you should see the beautiful redwood fencing she has constructed just to give her some privacy--it's as tall as the trees.) He has quite a few acres but decided to build his house justrightnext to my friend's existing house... Hey Ghost... Whoa! 23rd and New Jersey? Yup, you had it year round...

We get a mixed bag here, depending on one's location. I'm house sitting, and normally I only hear the sounds from crickets, frogs, and rustling leaves while creatures creep about the woods out back. Of course, last night the next door neighbor, who is known to use the deer that freely roam for target practice, had all of his gizmos and gadgets going. I bet he was wearing camouflage. Fireworks are illegal in Indiana. The "Out of State" fireworks stands are all over. You just sign a waiver, promising that you won't use the fireworks in state, and you're good to go...
