I owe it a great deal. same here, lost my copy a few years ago but still know a lot of it by heart... thanks allen, will check out that site... I bought it when I've started listening to jazz, in 1990-91 and at that time it was the bible for me. I still take a look at this book from time to time.

I ordered this set: Jacqueline Du Pré: The Complete Recordings. 18 £ on Amazon UK (17 CDs). What I was looking for is her recordings with Barenboim and Perlman but when I saw the price I decided to order this set.

Mosaic will not sell copies. The Dinah Washington is still available, though there's "limited inventory available" as it says in the announcement (see post #1). It looks like Dinah Washingeton set has already gone.
