  6. This is a good one but I prefer his earlier recordings (especially his recordings with Antonio Hart) over of his later ones, including this one.
  7. I'm not a vocal jazz fan either but I thing the stuff Anita O'Day recorded for Verve is much better than her recordings with Kenton. You'll love it.
  8. Sad news. RIP Mr. McKibbon.
  9. Bentsy, you are absolutely right! This is a magnifique set But you should start working on your French... Then you could read and enjoy that Rene Urtreger article that was in Le Monde newspaper on Bastille Day: Rene Urtreger interview ← Learning French is definitely on my *to do* list. I'm afraid I'll have the time for that only after I'll retire…
  10. I've just bought this 3 CDs set last week. This is really a great one!!! The sessions were recorded on 1960, 1979 ans 1999. The booklet looks great but it is writen in French.... Thank you Flurin for this recommendation.
  11. I am in Munich at the moment. Hot like in Tel-Aviv but rainy from time to time. But after drinking the Bavarian beer, who cares about the weather????
  12. B. Goren.

    George Coleman

Another Coleman's recommended recording is *I Could Write a Book*, the music of Richard Rodgers.
