  1. Maybe I am too naive, but I absolutely trust their honesty.
  2. The only reason that Mobley is still available is that 7500 copies were printed. But I believe this is the next set to go OOP.
  3. What do you think is the next set to go to the "running low" or "last chance" category???
  4. Thanks brownie.
  5. This is probably one of the best tributes I have recently listened to. A duo recording of Steve Lacy not with his favorite partner, Waldron, but with another pianist, Eric Watson. To be honest, I am not familiar at all with Watson and I have no ides what else he has done in his career, but there is no doubt in mind that if Lacy decided to record with him, he must know something about jazz. I find this recording very enjoyable. Steve lacy sounds great and also Watson plays some very impressive solo. Great interpretation of Goodbye Pork Pie Hat. If you like Mingus compositions and if you like Steve Lacy's playing, you will not be disappointed. Any other recommended recordings of Watson???

  13. I cant consider myself as an expert, but as far as I'm familiar with Duke Ellington's live recordings, this is probably one of the best. Brownie, do you have anything to tell us about February 1963 in Paris???
  14. It was one of the two most dramatic finals I can recall. The other one is of course 1999 final with Manchester United.
