  1. I heartily recommend Music and Dance - excellent Bailey session. The dancer is Min Tanaka, butoh mover.
  2. Very surprising.
  3. Hahaha yeah, I think you loaned me that and the Cleve Pozar on Savoy. I'll get 'em right back to you, just gotta check the wings on those pigs first...
  4. Don Pullen & Milford Graves - Nommo - (SRP)
  5. Damn. Wonder if my pocketbook can handle it right now.
  6. Ah. I do like the original cover art, though.
  7. Actually it would be 4 1/3 pages. Pretty sure Braxton would not be comfortable being called a critic.
  8. I want that Slide Hampton on Pathe that's listed as an upcoming reissue, too.
  9. So it's only one track I would be missing. Thanks.
  10. Those BAT records are f'in impossible to dig up. I'd be into hearing this.
  11. Ah - my Adam's Apple is on LP as well. But good to know.
  12. Football players and meth - clearly a winning combination.
  13. Nice - I've got the other Dameronia on Uptown and like it a lot.
  14. Dang, so I need both Etcetera and The Collector? Former was easy to find, the latter... not so much.
  15. I have some but not all of this in various forms. Tempting indeed.
  16. Yeah, still trying to see whether I can get a participant's/reviewer's discount!
  17. Yes, Vista is good. I think I got it for a buck, and that seemed like a fine deal considering the music.
  18. Well I stand corrected - must be thinking of somebody else!
  19. the duo recording with mal is one of the most intimate and expressive recordings i have. among others, i escpecially love the beautiful solo extended standards of the 'recollections'. Could it be Favre? Sounds and sort of looks like him. I could swear the Gaumont I heard was far from "free jazz."
  20. I have it and it's superb. Once the Dixon Trust's new website is up and running, you'll be able to purchase Odyssey. PM me and I will help you get a copy.
  21. Sad to hear this - way too young. RIP.
  22. Eremite did a nice job with that - comparing side by side with the OG, it's got great sound and solid packaging.
  23. Man, if this happened on a 3-CD set discussion, just think of where it would have gone on a 6-CD box!
