  1. I have Jazz Meets India on LP. It's quite good. Hope things go well for this label.
  2. lucky devil, I've been looking for that for quite some time. Most of those ICP's are really, really, good. I've only got the New Acoustic Swing duo, Mengelberg/Bennink duo, and Lijm by Bennink/Bailey, which I finally acquired recently. right at this very instant, I'm listening to Nursery Cryme by Genesis. It's been 10 years since the last spin. Tetterettet has eluded me as well. There's not a clinker among the ICP LPs, though Groupcomposing isn't quite the all-star game one would hope.
  3. Damn - what a shame. Never met the man, but what a legacy. RIP.
  4. I'd like to plug this article, containing excerpts (very slightly edited) from Bill Dixon's letters, manuscripts and like writings. Hope you all enjoy. It's available here.
  5. cracked?
  6. Mary Lou Williams would have been my first guess, had I put my thinking cap on.
  7. That Taco Bells record is sweet. I just reviewed it for Paris Transatlantic.
  8. Even a nice King pressing probably wouldn't set you back much more than $50.
  9. Perry Robinson - The Traveler - (Chiaroscuro) Perry Robinson - Funk Dumpling - (Savoy)
  10. Charlie Nothing - The Psychedelic Saxophone of.../In Eternity with Brother Fred - (Takoma)
  11. Another one going even higher; $2,616 Hank Mobley Insane, especially for a VG+ (or more likely, VG) copy.
  12. I like that image. Could also be Dutch.
  13. Too bad I'm in the States; I'd be interested but the shipping would be very expensive! Sounds like your father was a neat guy.
  14. Seems like you play that one a lot, brownie!
  15. It is a nice record. And thanks to our own Chris Albertson for making it happen.
  16. Oh, I was referring to the hand-numbered issue of Spiritual Unity, with a brown cover and black silkscreen. I don't know how many of that edition made it out of NY.
  17. It's really good.
  18. Ne Plus Ultra is the shit. Indeed, Chewy is right - now I just have to get the Wave LP to complement it.
  19. Prince Lasha & Sonny Simmons - The Cry! - (Contemporary black label)
  20. Yeah, I have it too but hadn't heard it in a while.
