  6. Great to hear - I was beginning to doubt my hearing/judgement ! His interpretations of the tunes are in many cases memorable, I think. Unexpectedly so. Definite to Scott for compiling this set.
  7. I remember hearing it on the radio at the time. It sounded good - must get hold of it. Not dis-similar to some of the Keith Jarrett projects of the time (the one with the German Organ, can't remember what it was called - Book of Ways?)

  17. Really? I've been groovin' along to it far more than I thought I would. A 'sleeper' of a Mosaic IMO - pleasant suprise. Although maybe not one to play back to back all 3 disks (unless it's a choice between that and the entire FF Set ! ).
  18. Derek Jewell - now there's a name from the past. He used to to an extremely good popular music/jazz record review show on BBC radio back in the 70s which was extremely wide ranging and 'tasteful' in its selections.
  19. I won't hesitate to say that it will probably be the best $96 you ever spend in your life in terms of musical enjoyment. Congrats !
  20. Johnny Mercer Mosaic Select, CD2
