  5. JONES/LEWIS Cd Mosaic set 105 EUROS The set is NM, price including a superfast and secure shipping (25 euros) anywhere in EU. I am sorry this is EU only offer, due to the ludicrous cost of air shipping outside EU. Paypal only. PM if interested.
  6. Joe Henderson OUR THING BN NY mono A great session IMHO
  7. I was aware of that. It was not my intention to deny your view, only wanted to express there can be exceptions on the rule. No problem On the other hand 'test' can mean exactly 'test', you test something in order to achieve the best result, so a test pressing could be not the definitive pressing, though I never meet such case. I have a mispressed WLP of Dylan's Before The Flood double lp where one side is pressed on both records and side four is missing
  8. I said 'usually'
  9. I would add that test pressings, and usually white label promo too, are better sounding because they come from the very early matrix. In my experience WLP are better then stock copies, expecially in case of rock records pressed in hundred of thousand copies.
  10. NIRVANA NEVERMIND MOFI pressing
  11. BUON COMPLEANNO!!!
  12. Does it include Beethoven's birthday?
  13. Nah, don't bother about a new one, just pm to Clem and Chuck.
  14. I forgot it, great performance too, at least for the middle Quartets, that I owned long time ago. Not to offend anyone, but I never really liked the Alban Berg Quartet, too mannered to my ears. You may be right, I should listen to them now, since I sold these records more then 10 years ago. Maybe I sold them because I didn't like them. As we say in Italy 'Old age is an ugly (dangerous?) animal' BTW I still have the Amadeus Quartett first recordings for DG, maybe it's mean something.

  16. I have an AN silver cable on the arm of my turntable, and one from my phono stage to my pre amp and they sound ok, nor 'fat' or 'thin', just 'correct', if you understand what I mean.
  17. Beethoven's late streich quartette, Amadeus Quartett, DG stereo
  18. Difficult to say, Beethoven's works, expecially later works, are so hugely brilliant that almost every performance has something worth listening to. I mean that I never found a 'definitive' performance. Anyway I know the classic Quartetto Italiano, Amadeus Quartet and Lasalle Quartet performances and they are great to one extent or another. Don't know Chuck's recommendation.
  19. Thanks, for the link and for your job! I already noticed this link, sometimes I forgot the forum's function 'search' The funny things is that I couldn't delete my own post, strangely only the first one.
  20. Yeah, I have to hide my aged scotch when he's around!
  21. Zappa's Grand Wazoo.
  22. Oops, wrong place, why couldn't I delete and repost it?
  23. I am searching a link to a Contemporary full discography, cat numbers, ecc. Do have any links? Thanks.
  24. A couple of years ago, I bought a lot of vinyls from them: promos, box sets, ecc. I tooked to me several months and countless intercontinental phono calls to get them. Everytime I spoke with a different person who couldn't find my previous order, cc number, ecc. A nightmare.
