  1. I hope they'll put Chiellini in quarantine and inoculate him the rabies vaccine And the italian team was the lamest I can remember: defeat deserved.
  2. There is a killer performance of it on the BBC sessions
  3. I tend more to follow suggestions of knowledgeable people. Samples are just samples, I need several listenings in order to "understand", like wines, it needs time to ripen in my mind.
  4. Thanks Mike, I just ordered Barbier thru Amazon France, together with the last Jarrett/Haden. And thanks to Lon and Joe, obviously.
  5. Actually I have the first three voumes of Ciccolini on EMI, missed the last twos, the sound is rather poor, but the performance is ok, IMHO.
  6. The title says all. I'd prefer recent recordings with a good sound over historically performances. Thanks.
  7. One of those rock albums that sounds almost "too much" perfect, but WOW! I still love and enjoy it after 35 years of listeng.
  8. The nicest gimmix Stone cover is the zip cover of Sticky Fingers IMHO
  9. My favourite Doors album. My copy has a "transparency "'front cover photo of the band with the yellow background coming from the inner sleeve. The cornets of the album cover are rounded off to give the impression of a mounted 35mm transparency . Cool idea totally lost with subsequent reissues. My copy too has this cover. Talkin about cover/sleeve I have this one that is nice too: Jethro Tull's Stand Up
  10. Nick Drake - Fruit Tree, Island box set.
  11. Count me as another Stanko's fan.
  12. Overall my fave Boss' record.
  13. Frida Kahlo. http://www.scuderiequirinale.it/categorie/mostra-frida-kahlo I found she is more touching as human being, rather then artist.
  14. Sundazed reissue. Edit: actually it's a original Ode, stereo. Got the input from the news:http://www.theguardian.com/music/2014/may/19/led-zeppelin-accused-stealing-stairway-to-heaven-opening
  15. Classic Records reissue, stereo.
  16. Hard job, but if I have to: Rock 1965-1975 Jazz 1955-1965. And the nineties for the huge amount of output on cd: new historical recordings, "world music", new "classical" stuff, avantgarde, etc, overall the decade I discovered most music, new and old.
