  1. Sad. RIP, Milford.
  2. Can this be moved to the artist forum?
  3. Sad news. RIP.
  4. I didn't think about the heat on the vinyl. I don't know how long it went on for. Maybe any of the members here from the Netherlands, since that where this photo is from, can shed some light on this.
  5. Who knew that you could buy your favorite record from a vending machine. Holland 1960 you plop you money in the machine and dispense your record. Did this exist elsewhere in the world?
  6. The bass player is Alpert. Someone was able to confirm him.
  7. No not that show. It was at the Jazz standard where I saw him. Also a few years earlier at the Blue Note at a dizzy Gillespie alumni band set.
  8. Another photo that the National Jazz Museum Of Harlem is trying to get help identifying the musicians. The drummer is Jimmy Crawford. Any guesses for the rest of the musicians? It is Tony Mottola on guitar.
  9. Back in 2016, Tony Bennett and his wife were at the Jazz Standard for a set of Bill Charlap and Renee Rosnes. It was shortly after the release of his album with Bill Charlap. He seemed fine then.
  10. All the best to Mr. Bennett and his family.
  11. RIP.
  12. Yes, Billy Harper. The other one is Frank Wess, Greg Gisbert, Michael Weiss, Noriko Ueda, Winard Harper.
  13. Damn, you got them all. One more. Lat one for the night.
  14. Some paintings I did. Can you guess who are these musicians? #1 #2 #3
  15. Here is the benefit concert for Birdland. https://www.savebirdland.com/
  16. With the exception of the unissued Charlie Christian housed at Rutgers University, I have everything else. http://www.soloflight.cc/unissued.htm
  17. On my list.
  18. 87 years old. An amazing interviewer.
  19. The best I ever seen play the game.
  20. Is Gerry Mulligan playing a curved soprano.
  21. I think you're right, Dan. I've listened to a number of concerts at this place. Considering this was acquired nearly six years ago, I never came across any of the recordings at the library. I've even searched tonight the catalog and didn't see anything. https://catalog.nypl.org/search~S1?/j*LDCO+796+%5BCD%5D/j*ldco++++796+[cd]/-53,-1,0,B/browse
