The liner notes to the original soundtrack (reissued on disc) claim that this was indeed Pops' last recording in the studio. I listened to that track last night. Me too. Was John Bergamo the drummer? And of course I heard Buell with Cecil, with Al Francis, and more... Bergamo was the drummer. You're lucky - wish I had heard more.
