Ain't it the truth..

Damn dude, you're going all out. I've been thinking about getting a smoker for a long time. I have to use a gas grill with smoker pouches now, works fine but you can never capture the same flavor as as with a true smoker. I think I will sell one of the two grills I have and follow your lead.

what are you drinking right now?

Sambuca on the rocks. -
I thought the first thing every new player learned was the Barney Miller bass line.
-
Damn, I'm sure this was not easy. Great job, Mark!

It really is a nice piece of work.

That would be an idea... Healthy donuts made with organic spelt flour and raw honey !! See there, you've gone out of business before you even got started.
-
I got a name.... The Doughnut Drummer

What about her "two boys"? (I don't know how to type the accent )

At this point they have done nothing for you, so you don't owe them anything. My guess is a good lawyer would advise that their contract is not worth the paper it is printed on. I doubt they have any legal grounds to come after you for money. Even if they did, I'd still say fuck 'em. Just don't give them access to withdraw any funds. You may need to close a bank account if they have the account number and routing codes. Watch now, you're going to see what this company is all about. I would not be surprised if when you call or email or whatever, they will give you a major serving of bullshit along with legal threats about the contract. Don't give in dude.

Seriously. We were watching one of those Bobby Flay "Food Challenge" shows on Food Network a while back and the one where he made donuts pitted him against some flamboyant donut-making dude from one of the burroughs who was a real prick. Usually, the person Flay goes up against is fun and gracious and someone I'd most definitely patronize, but this guy and his donuts (no matter how tasty) was a paranoid jerk who didn't want to participate and possibly be shown up. Yeah, that was the Mark Israel from Doughnut Plant in NYC. I've never been to the store in Manhattan but have had one his doughnuts at Dean & Deluca. It was good, definitely unique but I have places closer to home that I would consider better, so I'm not missing anything. Plus, I too saw that episode and thought the guy came off a little too full of himself.

We've got a bunch of doughnut snobs up in this place. Who would have thought? Seriously, Dunkin works fine in a pinch. Much better than Krispy Kreme, hot or cold, that shit is way too sweet. The best doughnuts of course, are made in little mom and pop shops throughout the country.

Maybe I'm still missing something here. Is Credit Solutions saying they can get your creditors to wait 36 months for a settlement on the balance due? What happens in the meantime?
-
First off a lot of creditors will not negotiate settlements with them or anybody but you stand a greater chance with a place like Consumer Credit Counseling. Sorry dude, I don't care what ripoff report says, this company cannot guarantee shit and look how many complaints they had to resolve before getting an endorsement from that website which still isn't worth much of anything. Why would you want to deal with a place that takes so much of your money?

Say what?

Credit Solutions doesn't make payments. They negotiate settlements with the credit card people and I chose the best settlement deals and pay off the cards while depositing $359. a month in a savings account for 36 months starting June 10th.. They claim that by the end of the program I will actually have a better credit rating.. To whom do you deposit the money with, Credit Solutions? And what, you then continue to make payments directly to the credit card company?

You got that right. Blazing Saddles is one of the greatest movies of all time. "I want rustlers, cut throats, murderers, bounty hunters, desperados, mugs, pugs, thugs, nitwits, halfwits, dimwits, vipers, snipers, con men, Indian agents, Mexican bandits, muggers, buggerers, bushwhackers, hornswogglers, horse thieves, bull dykes, train robbers, bank robbers, ass-kickers, shit-kickers and Methodists" -- Hedley Lamarr R.I.P., Mr. Korman and thanks for the laughs. -
The corn actually came out nicely, sweet and smokey.
-
I forgot the part about soaking the husks and my grill caught on fire.
-
I'm offended that they refer to her as a "chef".
-
Yeah, that should be fun. And to confuse those present, make a point of choosing those records marked "CANTA IN NAPOLITANO". :D (The Godfather in the house will be soooo pleased! ) Coming to think of it, how about MARINO MARINI? Though I imagine records by some of the artists you name might perhaps be a bit difficult to get in the States. Well, if Shawn had been given more advanced notice and time to travel he could have found everything he needed in several record stores in Brooklyn.

Grilled pork chops, zucchini and yes.........., corn done "Free For All style".
