  1. Welcome to ny - the land where enforcement does not exist. It's all about parking and no seat belt violations these days.
  2. Dang! I guess my friends list just got one person lighter.
  3. I heard the construction site had been cited nine times.
  4. Very impressive! Nice interview and I'd say your choice of the word stellar for the music is very fitting. Now, about those clothes... Looks like the dude behind the bar is wearing the same get up as the host. So, somebody there was trend setter.
  5. Happy Birthday, Conrad.
  6. Well, you only need an upgrade if you want to play Pong II.
  7. The dual cassette player, of course.
  8. Is that a ham radio set up I see?
  9. I can't tell with the helmet on, but is that Ralph Nader driving?
  10. I'm aware of that, but you did mention he had many irons warmed up, so I assumed they were ready to go. As Chuck points out, there are many shirts to be ironed. I really don't care who does the ironing as long as it's not me. Not that I don't and can't but my lady here has spoiled me and it would be tough to go back to the way things used to be. Plus, she could use a break and since you were offering up Rod for the task, I figured I'd float it out there. Now, on to Paul Anka. Yes it is true, his people would probably not want my shirts and yeah, unless he has a shiny new Rowenta, I have no use for him. I have an Anka and shirts question though. Obviously the guys in the band did get shirts, but who did the ironing? I mean could you imagine what would have happened if the guys in the band had wrinkled shirts?
  11. Is this the same guy? He's got lots of irons in the fires. Good, 'cause I've got some wrinkled shirts.
  12. Crappy? You must be out of your mind. The Sopranos was a great series and one of my all time favorites, but at times it was a disappointment. The writing was often sloppy especially in the later years. The Wire on the other hand never seemed to struggle.
  13. Don't waste your time, I hear it's a real drag.
  14. I wish I knew, I lost contact a while back. She's a good person, it would be nice to have her around here again.
  15. Slim putting a bullet in Cheese's head was great. They gave us a real nice peak at the end of how things played out. A bitter-sweet ending to say the least. I am anxious to start all over again with season 1.
  16. Yeah, it's not all that bad. First time I ever had it was in Westbury LI.
  17. Happy Birthday Free! I just returned from my trip to the Cleveland area complete with blizzard conditions and all that shit. Even though I am dead tired, I still will be sipping one in your honor tonight.
  18. WTF???? Because of the nature of the business I am in, my telephone starts to ring early in the morning, no matter where I am. So, it's just always made more sense to come into the office first thing when the crews are starting the day. The sucky part is I don't always go to sleep as early as I should. That is when the daily nap becomes your friend.
  19. Winter = 4:30 am M-F Summer = 3:30 am M-F On the weekends I usually don't sleep much past 6:00 or 7:00 am, maybe with the exceptions of vacations.
  20. The "Blue Note Streat Team" is hosting the number six dance later on.
  21. Yeah, I spoke to soon. This are didn't miss the brunt of anything.
  22. not to cast aspersions on your hypothesis, but i mean when i do laundry i wear dumpy clothes, not stuff i would wear in public. i wear a thin t-shirt so short that tufts of stomach hair jut out of the bottom and i wear oregon state basketball shorts which make it look like i am a very serious basketball player. if i wore this outfit outside, i would look like an idiot. News flash, you might look like an idiot when you're inside as well. Especially if those basketball shorts are circa 1978 to go along with that t-shirt you described.
