  1. It means 130 unhappy customers not 1300. Math never was my strong point. Your name should pretty much cover you for any mistakes you make.
  2. I see jokers doing stupid shit like this all the time. They always start out the same way, stand up look around to see if there are any cops, then gun it. I remember a couple of years ago while driving on the Northern State Parkway this clown did the look around and proceeded to accelerate only to find two state police cars around the turn. I laughed my ass off. Unfortuantely too many times these fuckers get away with it, or worse they end up plastered to a light post or involve another vehicle in the accident.
  3. He was a funny dude. Al Czervik goes to dinner.....
  4. Crashed their website.
  5. I spied a Woody clip of Four Brothers (on the related videos to the right) featuring Frank Tiberi, Dave Reikenberg, Jerry Pinter and Mike Brignola, as well as a younger Free For All (spotted between the tenor and bari) dutifully playing his brass hits. Those were the days baby! See there, if it wasn't for this thread you would have never seen the other video. You too, owe it ALL to the mighty Disney. That's actually some pretty cool shit, dude.
  6. Salt to taste is key. Sometimes when I am following a recipe and see the salt measurement is high I will normally cut it was back and add a little at the end if it still needs it. I find when cooking with certain ingredients like a low sodium chicken stock the level may already be more than enough. Cooking with, Pancetta, Prosciutto and Parmigiano Reggiano also means I add very little or no salt to the recipe.
  7. That picture makes me laugh.
  8. One of the best episodes of Curb Your Enthusiasm is the one in which Larry has the bubble wrap. At the end when Larry is running to hide from Krazee-Eyez Killa....... "I hear you up there, poppin' those fuckin' bubbles!"
  9. It depends, are there sexual favors/ironing hanging in the balance? * *apologies to rachel Well, yes and no. All the ironing has been done and as far as the sex goes........., we'll see, it's only Monday.
  10. Not me, I spent almost half of yesterday cooking.
  11. My lady wants to buy a Macbook. Is this a good machine? Apple® - MacBook® Pro with 15.4" Display Model: MA896LL/A
  12. It only took a little more than a year.
  13. Move this to the politics forum and you might get some input from Patricia.
  14. Happy Easter to those that celebrate this day.
  15. Maybe only "sub-moronic" people don't get the humor. Me, I still laugh my ass off every time I see them.
  16. Just threw some marinated chicken wings on the grill. Tomorrow is arancini, followed by osso bucco.
  17. I have my dog's teeth done at least once or twice a year. The preanesthesia test which I do, but is optional runs me around $100. The cleaning itself is anywhere from $140-$200. Any extras like extractions have run it as high as $500, but that's still half of what you're being quoted. Maybe cats are more complicated.
  18. Looks like Michael has an upcoming gig in Detroit this May.
  19. For those board members in the NY area, I highly recommend going to hear Michael and his group if at all possible.
  20. He also played the part of Lonnie in the 70s classic film "Car Wash". RIP, Mr. Dixon.
  21. I would probably disagree with ever "unsexiest in the world" list as much as I disagree with every "sexiest in the world" list. It's all meaningless. I see women on the street every day far more beautiful and sexy than the top models, music video stars, and hollywood actresses. As for Parker, if judging was to be based solely on physical appearance, she has from what I've seen, a pretty smokin' body, so that in itself qualifies and makes her sexy.
  22. He will probably be written up for this. I do believe it is in the board by-laws that a "moderator" must make vacation/holiday time off requests to upper management.
  23. Strong currencies are great for consumers because they make imports cheaper. Also, a strengthening (rather than strong) currency will reduce inflationary pressures. Yes, but Asians don't consume. They certainly don't consume at American proportions; don't see that changing in the near future either. Is this true? I mean aren't China and Japan huge consumers?
