Stan Turrentine “Cherry” CTI Supreme Blu-Spec CD I’m definitely in the mood for this one! And it delivers. Milt Jackson is featured, and on occasion Cornell Dupree’s Telecaster steals the show.

Enjoying the early morning cool while it lasts! (Almost said “and quiet” but it’s generally quiet here round the clock–so nice to have so few neighbors and all these lovely trees). Keith Jarrett “Sun Bear Concerts” disc 6, “Encores” (which were not included in the original LP box set).

Listening to this one again. In part because I was rudely interrupted by kitchen modding reality mid-way, and partly because there is a lot going on here--it's no wonder Dex and Jug are/have been/will be wiping sweat.

And his teaching ensures a long legacy for him. I'm exceedingly grateful for his tutelage of Tony Williams.
