  1. Sonny Rollins "After the Bridge" Sony Japan 2 cd set, disc 1. Good Lord Sonny was a monster then.
  2. I sure like it. Other than tube-rolling, I'm done!
  3. Keith Jarrett/Dennis Russell Davies, Suttgarter Kammerorkester, "Mozart, K.487, K.488, K.595, K.477, K.550" ECM New Series 2 cd.

  5. Horace Silver "You Gotta Take a Little Love" Blue Note Japan SHM-CD. Love is in short supply, take some but don't hoard it!
  6. Chick Corea "Rendezvous in New York" SACD edition, SACD 1. This time I skipped the initial 3 tracks with Bobby McFerrin.

  8. Heliocentrics "Fallen Angels--The Singles" Japan lp facsimile cd.
  9. Peter Kater, "The Healing Series Vol. 3: Ambrosia" I bought this because it has Jacques Morelenbam on cello. And it's worth it for that. . .beautiful cello from Jacques wonderfully recorded.
  10. This thread has made me think of "In the Beginning. . . God." Once last year and once this year my brother performed this song acapella at church services. He knocked it out of the park, especially the second time. I knew he could sing but. . . man oh man he did this difficult piece justice.
  11. "Time & Love" Jackie & Roy, CTI Supreme Series Blu-Spec CD, Japan. Very different from "A Wilder Alias" as if the two were carpenters building a more traditonal structure for their music, but still . . . I like it a lot. I needed the chill pill.
  12. I have the Warner Jazz SHM-CD which sounds really nice. This is a great session! A meeting of the minds indeed.
  13. This is an album that I like more and more as I play it more. A return to forever in the fifth dimension to a penny arcade where a banda nova not yet formed practices for a Carnival show while watching the weather report. Or something like that. Definitely not your grandfather's Jackie & Roy album. Followed by Stefon Harris/David Sanchez/Christian Scott "Ninety Miles Project" Concord cd One of these days I should watch the DVD included in this set!
  14. Herb Pomeroy and his Stablemates "Live at the Stable, Boston 1955" Fresh Sound cd. Though this is an expanded release, most of it was originally on Transition Records, "Jazz in a Stable" with this cover. . . .
  15. John Coltrane "Crescent" Japan Impulse MQA UHQCD.
  16. Lawrence Hobgood, Charlie Haden with Kurt Elling "When the Heart Dances" NAIM Audio cd Followed by Keith Jarrett Trio "The Out-of-Towners" ECM cd
  17. I keep my boxes and booklets and cds in three separate places. If something were to happen to me right now, my wife would probably be inclined to toss some and not re-integrate all the parts. . . . I can see how this happens.
  18. This is an interesting album and our jazz journalist friend C J assures me Ms Alexa is as beautiful inside as out. Which is a lot. This is the second of her albums I have.
  19. oh boy.
  20. Tommy Flanagan Trio featuring Kenny Burrell "Beyond the Blue Bird" Timeless/Solid Records Japan cd
  21. The Jazz Messengers at the Cafe Bohemia, Vol. 2, 24 bity by RVG Japan cd followed by Sonny Rollins "After the Bridge," Japan 2 cd set, disc 2 And then Chris Anderson "Love Locked In" Mapleshade Audio cd
  22. Yes. IMO they are all worth hearing at least once to experience and see if you dig them. I particularly like Star People and Aura.
  23. Johnny Griffin and Eddie Lockjaw Quintet 'TOUGH TENORS back again" Storyville cd.
  24. Not only was this the "entry level" power regenerator, it was the very first one that PS Audio, and perhaps anyone else, ever sold. (It's not really a power conditioner, but a "regenerator"). I have one that needs repair, I believe the power switch failed. I pre-ordered this and have one of the very first units sold. A fine product. (I've moved up to newer modes of the regenerators). This is a good price for this unit!
