And I'm glad these sets are available for new jazz listeners. These are great packages for those new to jazz to legally acquire the music cost-effectively in great sound.

Probably not. It's a personal thing. Mingus is very important to my listening world, and I would like to have new re-masterings of those final albums. I also like these box sets, all the material is one place, and I like pulling out a box and listening to some discs. So it was clear to me that the box set was something I would have.

Back to this three lp box set. I can't believe how good it sounds on vinyl. I have the cd equivalent. No contest! I love Teagarden. One of my favorite musicians.

I've been frustratingly waiting for my copy of this. Shipped on the same day as my Weather Report set, which I received on Monday. I think yes, there are new remasters here, especially likely for the later albums in the set. I heard from one fellow jazz collector who says these final albums sound improved.

I've enjoyed a few of these this year. It says "Smooth" on the label, and that's truth in advertising. I don't drink much, and I usually try something different when I do.

I like Alphas. Somehow I managed to miss the last two episodes of the first season, but I'm muddling through the new one somehow. Me too, it must be catching. Thought I'd watch a couple of episodes but ended up watching it all in two sittings. Season 4 was fantastic! They could have ended it there. Somehow I'm not as keen on this season. . . Walter is an ever-increasing asshole and it's not quite as good for me.

It's going cheap, so I ordered the new version of this from amazon.
