I know Englewood Cliffs - it's now very ritzy. If Rudy's family is still living there, that's one thing. But if they aren't, it makes much more sense to sell the house. Here's hoping someone good buys the studio and transplants it intact somewhere else.

Sure was Baron. My favorite Sco drummer might still be Adam Nussbaum.

BTW, anyone who's into Sco knows the level of wordplay in his titles. If you'll read the description of this project in Amazon, you'll see the many layers of meaning here. Funny as all hell.

Just listened to Live at Yoshi's again after a long time away. I love Pat's playing, but Joey's pretty oppressive on the bass pedals - always there, doesn't allow any air between the notes. Would've preferred a bassist on the gig in addition to DeFrancesco. YMMV, of course.

I like the Insect Trust record very much; even bought the Collectors' Choice CD reissue. It's much better than their first album on Capitol. I actually saw them open for The Mothers and Seatrain at the Fillmore East. Don't remember the drummer that night, but am sure it wasn't Elvin.
