The comic part! Excellent!!! I remember that one from when it came it out. The title track with guitarist Nile Rodgers is excellent. I too am a big Smiths admirer. For me they encapsulate the 80s (together with Talking Heads). And I also consider them to be (against a very wide consensus) a 50/50 between Morrissey and Marr. I'd rather say a 40/60 in favor of Marr.

Hoodoo gurus - Magnum cum louder I was very much into this kind of music at the end of the 80s. What would turn out to be indie in the 90s. But it had long been in the making in the 80s.

I like them very much. I discovered them in Thailand in 1989, where in Bangkok you could buy very cheap bootleg cassettes, (they were quite unknown in Europe) where I got their incredible Magnum cum Louder. I had this on vinyl, and now as mp3 but with a different cover both times. This one:
