Cees Slinger passed away in 2007. R.I.P. Jerry van Rooyen Jerry van Rooyen/Herman Schoonderwalt, 1962 The Dutch VARA broadcasting company presented a number of shows featuring Dutch jazz musicians. Some of the more modern musicians were brought together for a session they called "Improvisation". Trumpet player Jerry Van Rooyen, who later became a well known arranger probably wrote this tune.
