brownie Posted April 25, 2010 Report Posted April 25, 2010 Lenny McBrowne and The Four Souls 'Eastern Lights' (Riverside, mono) with Don Sleet on trumpet! Liner notes by Chris Albertson! That was an excellent album! Great playing by Sleet and tenor Daniel Jackson! Now listening to their previous release: Lenny McBrowne and the Four Souls (PacificJazz) with Sleet and Jackson again. Elmo Hope composed one tune and arranged three others for this session. Quote
