Apologies for that. I have the Ahura Mazda LP, which you probably have also. My copy of the Takoma is different from the one you posted - mine has some color on the cover - not sure which is original - and I mistook your post for the Ahura Mazda, which is black and white. Plus, as I say, I was tired last night. Anyway, it's all good and they're both good Robert Pete. Quote
clifford_thornton Posted July 18, 2017 Report Posted July 18, 2017 Color cover is a second issue from what I understand. Quote
paul secor Posted July 18, 2017 Report Posted July 18, 2017 (edited) Discogs lists the color cover as 1966 w. booklet liner notes by Elijah P. Holloway (John Fahey?)Â Â - white cover as 1967. I have no idea which is the original and don't care all that much. I'm in it for the music and am cool either way. Edited July 18, 2017 by paul secor Quote

Big Beat Steve Posted July 19, 2017 Report Posted July 19, 2017 Ah, those budget labels that couldn't even muster TEN measly tracks on one LP. I remember this always had me baffled when I came across them in my early collecting days - usually in the form of US pressings - to the best of my recollections ten sides really were the bottommost bottom of contents on European LPs, even in the budget price range. Even so, I find that it's wriggling its way into my consciousness and I keep coming back to it. ...The pastoral album cover photographs align with the music perfectly.
