He mentioned a funny story about when he played there with Stan Getz when the place opened 30+ years ago. I've been going there for a long time, but not that long. I had tickets to the show last night but had to back out at the last minute. I heard from the person who used my tickets that it was very good, especially Harris. I attended quite a few shows at the Regattabar when Barron played with Getz but it sold out quickly and there was no such thing as a secondary market back then. Quote

The intensity & power of this trio is boundless. Ches’ electronics were deeper & heavier than last week & David played the disruptor as well as being even grittier than last week. Wowza.
