I'm not sure what it was, but it was not so good and not from scratch. Tonight we had my sister, her 18-month old daughter, and her husband over for dinner. I made a pork roast with a neat glaze I found online (sugar, vinegar, water, soy sauce, and a little corn starch to thicken... yum!), mashed potatoes, and brussell sprouts with bacon. Brushed with olive oil, and wrapped in foil with a little white wine, lemon juice, rosemary, and salt & pepper, topped with lemon slices. Grilled for 10 minutes and it came out perfect. Yesterday was chicken with potatoes and carrots, an heirloom tomato salad and a cheeseburger for my son. Free For All Posted November 22, 2008 Report Share Posted November 22, 2008 Chicken breasts cooked in the crock pot, mashed red potatoes w/gravy and roasted asparagus. I cooked the chicken with some stock, onion soup mix, seasonings and a splash of balsamic vinegar. I add the liquid to a flour/butter roux and it makes excellent gravy. Like kale, broccoli, red bell pepper, and a couple of whole garlic cloves steamed and served with brown basmati, garneshed with olive oil, fresh asiago and black pepper. Tasty!
