Watched the finale of The Voice. The winner, Adam David, was a surprise. Here's a middle-aged white bar band front person with decades of experience and real discipline. . . I figured he didn't have a chance of winning. But he did.

Amanda Peet...I have heard the name forever, but can't recall seeing her in anything...I keep confusing her with Amanda Pays from the old Max Headroom series.

But now I know! At least for now ..

Spent the eveing after supper with this:

Tonight we saw the last ever episode of Lower Decks.
Too bad someone else didn't pick it up. The writing
was wonderful and very sly.

Last week, we saw the last of Wolf Hall -
which I wondered for nearly 10 years when
they were going to give us the final season.
Mark Rylance was brilliant.

...and we're so not looking forward to the end of a show
that we've been watching for many, many years and've
really loved all of the characters: Badehotellet - we're
treating the last episodes of Season 10 like a delicious
chocolate rolling around in your mouth that you don't
want to finish, but we're gearing up for the finale in the
coming weeks. It's been an emotional ride - funny most
of the time - but memorable in a lot of other ways too.
