Just got caught up on Street Outlaws Season 9, only one episode left.

Silicon Valley (T.J. Miller makes this show)

I've only watched one partial episode of The Leftovers this season. I think I might be happy about that but will probably go back and watch the entire season since it's the last one.

House Of Cards S5 . Now up to Ep10.

Convoluted and dark. Quite different to the previous series in some ways. The editing seems very choppy, the storyline complex- have the remote handy for quick rewind if you are prone to nodding off - and the tone uniformly sombre.

Twin Peaks.

Way over my intellectual pay grade.

I'll leave this one to cleverer folks to ponder :alien:

I will be watching episode 5 later today, but isn't it exactly over-intellectualizing Lynch that creates problems?

That might well be true. More accurately I can't be bothered investing the time and effort into something I clearly neither like nor comprehend.

I did like Mulholland Drive very much but that had some kind of comprehensible although bizarre narrative to glue everything together and hold my attention from slipping into irritated apathy. :)

A new 18 hour season 3 was produced for Showtime by Lynch and Frost. All directed by Lynch as one long movie. It will not be intelligible if season 1 & 2 & Fire Walk with Me aren't fresh in your mind.

It has been described as pure heroin Lynch. Every episode so far has its own feeling, but think Eraserhead, Lost Highway, Mulholland Drive, Inland Empire put in a mixer with the Lynch directed episodes of season 1 & 2 and FWwM. Not the cozy, cuddly season 1 & 2 atmosphere.

Over the past three weeks the first five hours (episodes) aired.
