Chuck Nessa Posted November 15, 2005 Report Posted November 15, 2005 If you don't already have all the "in print" cds you want I suggest you ................. get the fuck off the board.
Dan Gould Posted November 15, 2005 Report Posted November 15, 2005 You need to delete this immediately. Jim has made it clear that soliciting burns, or offering to buy burns is strictly prohibited. And in one fell swoop, you've obliterated whatever previous mark stood for most burns requested in a single post. Edit your post and stick to requesting used CDs, not copies of them.
connoisseur series500 Posted November 15, 2005 Report Posted November 15, 2005 Best wait another 30-40 years when my surviving spouse sells off my collection.
Aggie87 Posted November 15, 2005 Report Posted November 15, 2005 Is this similar to the thread that you started asking for someone to burn you a copy of the Organissimo cd?
Jazz Kat Posted November 15, 2005 Author Report Posted November 15, 2005 That thread doesn't exist. Fuck you
Chuck Nessa Posted November 15, 2005 Report Posted November 15, 2005 That thread doesn't exist. Fuck you ← Might be time for the Kat to join Aric. We really don't need this crap.
md655321 Posted November 15, 2005 Report Posted November 15, 2005 What would be the difference if it did? You are doing the same thing.
Chuck Nessa Posted November 15, 2005 Report Posted November 15, 2005 What would be the difference if it did? You are doing the same thing. ← and this is in response to...................

Jazz Kat Posted November 15, 2005 Author Report Posted November 15, 2005 If you kept your mout shut and the majority of people who are are posting in this thread weren't assholles, there would be no problem. Everything I try here just gets fucked up. I can't win.

Everything I try here just gets fucked up. I can't win. ← I think the reason you're not "winning" is that you're acting like a 14 yr old who thinks it's ok to rip off artists and producers of music, by burning their music and taking money out of their pocket. The majority of people on this board purchase their cd's legally. I don't think most of us condone ripping others off like you seem to be ok with.

Everything I try here just gets fucked up. I can't win. ← Jazz Kat, not trying to jump on the bandwagon but what you are "trying" to do is ask for illegal copies of someone else's music. Maybe you just weren't thinking but this has been discussed a ton of times and prohibited. It might be best to have the entire thread deleted and start fresh!!! m~
Dan Gould Posted November 15, 2005 Report Posted November 15, 2005 What Mark said, especially since your edit doesn't exactly make sense. You need a do-over.

md655321 Posted November 15, 2005 Report Posted November 15, 2005 (edited) If you need to hear this music so bad, there are much better ways to do it. First off, several of those cds are available for the rock bottom price of 5.99 at yourmusic.com. Additionally, you would be amazed at the music available at public libraries. Check them out. Also, calling people assholes because they do not support music piracy is not a great idea. Especially when so many people on this board make their money off of music. I will amit my music collection is not as legal as it should be, largely because I am young and poor music fan who is relatively new to jazz as well. But I sure as hell dont solicit illegal copies of cds on messageboards, and if I need music bad enough, I find a way to pay for it. Try a job. Edited November 15, 2005 by md655321
felser Posted November 15, 2005 Report Posted November 15, 2005 Ok, used cd's.. ← If you really want to buy legit used CD's of these titles, several of them are on my trade/sale list listed on 11/4 in this section. "CD's for trade or sale - new list 11/03/05".
.:.impossible Posted November 15, 2005 Report Posted November 15, 2005 Strangely enough, Money Jungle is missing from the list.
Chuck Nessa Posted November 15, 2005 Report Posted November 15, 2005 Strangely enough, Money Jungle is missing from the list. ← You knucklehead!
Guest akanalog Posted November 15, 2005 Report Posted November 15, 2005 even amazon has some deals on used CDs though service can be great or iffy.
Guy Berger Posted November 15, 2005 Report Posted November 15, 2005 Wow, I missed the original post -- at first I didn't realize what Chuck and Dan G were (rightfully) getting in arms about. Anyway, instead of used CDs you might want to check out yourmusic.com. For $6 & free shipping, cheaper than many used CDs, you can pick up many of the cds on your list. Guy
Soulstation1 Posted November 15, 2005 Report Posted November 15, 2005 jk has some balls if he asked for a burn of any organissimo cd
Jazz Kat Posted November 15, 2005 Author Report Posted November 15, 2005 I bought my copy. Do you even have it?
