Ron S Posted November 30, 2005 Report Posted November 30, 2005 Does this mean I don't have to get up six hours early again tomorrow? Quote
Jim Alfredson Posted November 30, 2005 Report Posted November 30, 2005 That was a strange outage. It took me forever to get a hold of Tech Support, but once I did they fixed the problem in about 30 seconds. It seems none of my website's IP addresses were bound (binded?) to the server. Meaning that if you tried to connect to them, CIHost's DNS servers would route you to my server, but then my server would be like, "What you talkin' bout, Willis? Organiss-a-what?" and just sit there. Weird. Quote
Ron S Posted November 30, 2005 Report Posted November 30, 2005 Sounds like your server was infected with the dreaded Gary Coleman Virus. Quote

7/4 Posted December 3, 2005 Report Posted December 3, 2005 Still having probs with the new set-up crashing. It seems to happen when there's even the slightest extra delay in a page coming up. It's crashed 6 times in the last 15 minutes. Getting worse each day. Technical: Mac OS 10.4.3 in Safari. Anyone else? Running fine with Win XP. Quote
Jim Alfredson Posted December 3, 2005 Report Posted December 3, 2005 Yeah, well it's not cutting it today. I tried to post something and it keeps adding it to my previous post It does that if you keep posting in the same thread within 5 minutes. That is not an error. It should not crash, however. But I'm running on a PC, so I don't know what the issue is. I'll email tech support. Quote
