Please review! no. left with some wacky triangular concord fantasy etc 3 disc + cdrom sampler for cheap instead. was just looking thru the maze of discs and that title on the spine caught my eye. thought it was some ellingtonian boot hank but looks like a rock group in a well. guess i should have at least sampled the title cut. It is rather rockish as I recall but it does feature my bud, tenor saxophonist Scott Fultz who also lead a more straightahead Hank trib band called Straight No Filter in the late 80s - early 90s in the Twin Cities. The latter project was quite good but I don't think they ever put any product out although I have a tape of me reading my Hank poem that was played on MN radio back in the day...Scott has a web site chronicling his current doings.
